Failure to Submit RTCR Report
Reporting Requirements Not Met for the Slippery Rock Municipal Authority
We violated a drinking water reporting requirement. We failed to submit a laboratory monitoring report after properly conducting monitoring in a timely manner.
This violation was the lowest tier violation, Tier 3, late reporting error violation. This violation was a recordkeepong/reporting error resulting in a late reporting violation, there was no issues with the water. We have communicated with our laboratory to ensure proper reporting in the future.
What should I do?
There is nothing you need to do at this time. You may continue to drink the water. If a situation arised where the water is no longer safe to drink, you will be notified within 24 hours.
What happened? What was done?
- On February 15, 2024, our laboratory used for testing the water in our distribution system made an error when reporting the test result for Total Coliform samples. This error caused our resuits to not be reported to the DEP in a timely manner. This resulted in a reporting violation being generated for the Slippery Rock Municipal Authority. All our required samples were collected in accordance with our monitoring plan and the results were good.
